PRICING
β
βThe price of my service will depend on a number of things - including length and complexity of the ceremony, distance travelled and any additional items to be sourced or created.
β
As every ceremony I create is unique, there may be some variation in the basic price - but as a guide, the cost of designing and officiating at a funeral will costs around £200. This price is usually absorbed by the Funeral Director and will be charged as part of the wider cost of a cremation or burial.
β
A guide price for a wedding is around £700, reflecting both the time spent in preparation and the hours spent with you on your wedding day.
How it works
Pre-ceremony consultation
After agreeing to go ahead I will issue a contract and a confirmation email. In the case of a wedding you are liable for the first payment at this stage; if we're planning a funeral, this will be taken care of by the Funeral Director. We will meet together face to face to talk through your plans and ideas. I will send you a questionnaire in advance which will form the basis of our chat which will be informal and friendly - and ideally take place in the comfort of your own home or a place that is safe and familiar.
Crafting your ceremony
Working closely with you - usually by email - I will prepare a plan for your ceremony that is as unique as you are. Based on your vision, your ideas, and your own special story - or the story of a loved one - I will write a script for your final approval. If it's a wedding, a second payment is due before this script is shared with you.
On the day Ceremony Management
On the day, I handle all aspects of the ceremony, ensuring that everything goes according to plan and making sure you are supported at every step of the way. All you have to do is relax - knowing that you are in safe hands!
